The Uglichcable plant (city of Uglich, Yaroslavl Region) is one of the most advanced cable industry enterprises in Russia. It was built from scratch by Nexans, one of the world leaders in the cable industry, and put into operation in November 2008.
A testing laboratory has been established at the plant for the purpose of constant control over the quality of products. The laboratory possesses all required test and measuring equipment, as well as the sample preparation equipment for the incoming inspection of raw products and materials. The plant electrical laboratory was one of the first registered in the Central Office of the Federal Service for Environmental, Process and Nuclear Supervision. The integrated quality management system of the enterprise is certified for compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001, GOST R ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
